We make Rumbana® the patient way. Bananas at their ripest are macerated, then distilled with molasses from the Caribbean. Nothing is added afterwards: no artificial flavourings, no colouring, no shortcuts. What's left is a rum with a soft, sun‑warmed sweetness.

50ml Rumbana® over one large cube. Straight up.

50ml Rumbana®, topped with prosecco and a little spritz of soda. Orange wheel.

60ml Rumbana®, a dash of bitters, 10ml of sugar syrup. Stir; orange peel.

Our Story

We got bored of boring rum

Rum had become predictable: traditional at one end, mass-produced at the other. We wanted a spirit with personality, the bottle people are actually excited to pull from the drinks cabinet.

So we made one. Bold enough for cocktail lovers, smooth enough to sip neat, and made only from natural ingredients. Along the way we found a use for perfectly good bananas that would otherwise have gone to waste. Doing good, it turns out, tastes rather good too.

“For the rum of it” is our toast to long tables, good company and the stories you'll still be telling next summer.
